2012 Food prepares its most international edition
Food is the International Food and Beverage most important in Spain and one of the largest in the international arena. Its eighteenth edition will take place from 26 to 29 March 2012 at the Fira de Barcelona. The hall will showcase the latest developments in the international food industry, distribution channels and consumer tastes.
2012 Food expects 4,000 companies gather leaders in the manufacture and distribution of food and beverages, waiting for the participation of nearly 150,000 professional buyers from more than 155 countries. Once again, Alimentaria will be the international economic scenario in the field of industry and food trade.
The fair is committed to its successful and pioneering industrial structure, which divides the range into 13 exhibition halls by product family. In addition, Alimentaria returns with an extensive program of research and innovation activities. It is estimated that 85% of the Spanish food industry will attend the event, in the nearly 94,500 m2 dedicated to the exhibition and activities.
