Primarily, our line of action is as follows:
-Permanent compliance with Catalan, Spanish and European present legislation and environmental regulations.
-Keeping hotel guests informed and encouraging cooperation towards environment preservation.
-Implement initiatives to include control, correction, prevention and actions in order to minimise the environmental impact:
To minimise the consumption of natural resources and commodities.
To adequately manage all environmental aspects (visual impact, saving water and electricity, using eco-friendly cleaning agents, sorting waste for recycling, CO2 emissions/ noise levels/ sewage)
-Enhance property's efforts to implement sustainable practices, inform fellow employees of these measures, and therefore motivate staff towards increased environmental awareness.
The Accor Hotels were rewarded by their politics of sustainable development
The Accor hotels in Spain and Pullman Barcelona Skipper too, have been rewarded with the Prize to the Tourist Sustainable Activities given to the companies that lead to end political of sustainable development.
A prize that recognizes the different initiatives in favour of the protection of the environment that Accor implanted for years in the hotels.
